The club was officially granted its Royal title in 2014, becoming the Royal Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club.
The course has undergone several updates, with one of the most significant redesigns coming in 1932 by renowned golf course architect James Braid, who helped shape the course into the challenging and enjoyable layout that it is today.
